The SRU team is hired to protect a billionaire and his wife at a cocktail party in a four-star hotel. Two men and a waitress at the hotel kidnap the wife and fit her with a necklace bomb. The men say they will kill her if her husband does not tell the truth about the death of three men who protested his copper mine in Chile. In the end, one of the men attempts to detonate the bomb anyway, but is stopped by the quick actions of Greg and Sam. Although the wife recognizes the voice of the waitress who helped in the kidnapping, she doesn't admit it after hearing that one of the dead men was the young woman's father.
Near the beginning of the episode Greg tells Ed that he visited his son for the first time in eight years. Throughout the episode Ed tries to arrange his biannual date night with his wife, but the situation prevented it. At the end of the episode, he finally makes it home. After the situation is over, Jules tries to walk home, but Sam insists on driving her. When she still refuses Sam pulls her back and kisses her.
